A handling fee can be utilized to offset costs associated with web stores, such as fulfillment costs and processing fees. The handling fee is applied to the customer's order during checkout.
To Add a Handling Fee to Your Store:
1) Within your store, click Settings on the left-hand menu.
2) Under Fees, Click the + button next to customer.
3) Determine the Fee Type (Per Order Flat Fee or Per Order Percentage Fee) and choose a Fee Name. Enter the Fee Cost then click Accept.
If you want your fee name to be shown during checkout, make sure Display Detailed Handling Fees is selected.
After a fee has been added, you can turn the fee on or off by clicking the pencil icon to edit it and then checking or unchecking Active.
