How to Add a Category to Your Store
A category is a way to organize products based on shared characteristics to help customers easily find what they’re looking for.
1) Within your store, navigate to Categories on the left-hand menu.
2) Click the + button on the top right-hand side of your screen and choose Category.
3) In the Quick Add Categories, add your category names (hit enter after each category name so each category name is on its own line), then click ADD CATEGORY and click ACCEPT.
How to Add a Package to Your Store
A package is a set of items that customers must add all at once to their cart. When a shopper clicks into the package, they'll see all the included products and be required to add the entire Package.
1) Within your store, navigate to Categories on the left-hand menu.
2) Click the + button and choose Package.
3) In the Quick Add Packages, add your Package name(s) (hit enter after each package name so each package name is on its own line), then click ADD Package and click ACCEPT.
Once you have your categories or packages added to your store, you will have to add your products into them. There is a couple of ways to do that.
To Add Products into your Categories or Packages in Bulk:
1) Navigate to the Products page within your store.
2) Select the products you want to add to your Category or Package.
3) Click Bulk Actions -> Change Category -> Add. Select your category and then click Accept.
To Add Individual Products into a Category or Package:
1) Navigate to the Products page within your store.
2) Find the product you want to add to your categories or package. Under the Categories section of the products page, click the categories or package you want the product to go in and click the green checkmark to confirm.
A couple of quick notes about Categories and Packages.
- You can have the same products in multiple categories or packages.
- You can add a product to both categories and packages.
