How to Add Personalization Options to Products

You can add personalization inside the process(es) that is assigned to the products.

Adding personalization to products is a staple in the decoration industry. Here is a breakdown of what each option type is and how you can add personalization fields for your customers.

 

Types of Options Explained

 

 

1) Name (Text Field): Is intended for allowing customers to add their name to a garment but can also be used to collect custom information.

 

2) Number (Text Field): Is intended for allowing customers to add a number to a garment.

 

3) Group (Drop Down List): This options provides the customer with a drop down menu of options that are pre-determined by the dealer. Ex: Rosters or Coaches, Corporate floors or departments, etc.

 

4) Exclusive Group (Drop Down List): Provides the customer with a drop down menu of options pre-determined by the dealer, however, once the option is selected by a customer and added to their cart, that option will disappear from other customers. This is a great way to give your customers a chance to select their jersey number without fear of someone else selecting the same number twice.

How to Add Personalization Options

 

1) Select Processes from the Left-Hand menu

 

2) Select 2024-08-28_08-58-49 for the process you wish to add the personalization to

 

3) Select the Plus Button next to 2024-10-16_08-35-47

 

4) If you have already created an option from a previous process, select "Existing Option" and select the one you wish from the drop-down menu. However, if you're creating a new process you will select "New Option" and select the type that fits the group's needs.

 

5) Give the option a title

 

6) Select 

 

7) Complete all the necessary info needed to save the option. (Pricing, Requirement, and Ecom Display, etc)

 

8) Select 2024-10-16_08-37-25

 

9) Repeat steps for as many options that are needed
