How to Change the Tax Type on a Specific Product

Chipply gives you the ability to update the tax type on individual products within your store. This is specifically helpful when you have products in your store that should be charged tax and some that should not be charged tax.

How to Change the Tax Type on a Specific Product

1) Within your store, click Products on the left-hand menu.  

2) Select the product(s) you wish to adjust the tax type on and click Pricing.   

3) Select Set Tax Type. The Change Tax Type box will appear, and you can now update the tax type to be Auto, Flat Percentage, Tax Exempt, or Custom.   

4) Once you are done, click ACCEPT. Those Products will now have a different tax type compared to the rest of your store.
