How to Refund an Order or a Single Product

If you ever need to refund an order, Chipply makes it quick and effortless.

How to Refund an Order:

1) First navigate to either Order Manager within your store or on top of your dashboard and use the search fields to find the order you want to refund a product on. Once you find the order click Edit to go into the order.

 

2) Once inside the order that you want to refund, click REFUND on the top right-hand side of your screen.

 

3) Depending on your store's setup, Chipply will prompt you to choose between VOID or DO NOT VOID when processing an order. The DO NOT VOID option will only appear if your store is configured to sell products at a $0 sell price.

  • Selecting VOID removes the products from all store reports.

  • Selecting DO NOT VOID keeps the products in store reports but is only available for $0-priced items.

Regardless of which option you choose, the order will be refunded to the customer.

How to Refund a Product from an Order:


1) First, navigate to Order Manager within your store or at the top of your dashboard and use the search fields to find the order containing the product you need to refund. Once you've found the order, click Edit to go into it.

 

2) Click the trashcan icon next to the product you want to refund.

3) At the bottom of your screen, you should now see a negative Net Order Difference

4) Once you see that displayed, you can click the REFUND button. Only the Net Order Difference will be refunded to the customer's card.
