How To Set Up Your ShipStation Integration

Setting up your ShipStation integration is simple! Follow the steps below to obtain your API Key and Secret, which are essential for syncing your Chipply orders with ShipStation and retrieving live carrier rates.

An additional step in this integration is configuring the webhook, which requires assistance from a Chipply team member. The webhook ensures that tracking information flows back into Chipply. How To Add Your ShipStation API Key & Secret Into Your Chipply Account:

1) Log in to your ShipStation account and click on the settings gear on the top right-hand side. 

2) Click on Account.

3) Click on API Settings.

4) API Keys can only be generated by the ShipStation Account Owner. Under "Select your API Version," choose V1 API. Then, Click Generate API Keys. ShipStation will send you a verification email, enabling you to generate your new API Key. During the setup process, you'll need to select an expiration period of 3, 6, or 12 months. Once your API Key is generated, you can easily copy both your API Key and Secret Key to seamlessly integrate them with Chipply.

6) From here, you can log in to Chipply, click Settings (on the top right-hand side of your screen)-> Dealer Settings on your top navigation, and then click on System Integration.

7) If you have not already, click the + Add button and choose ShipStation. Then Click on Shipstation under Integrated Systems. Under credentials, paste in your API Key & Secret Key, and then click Save.
