How To Set Up Your ShipStation Integration

To set up your ShipStation integration, generate your API Key and Secret in ShipStation, then paste them into your Chipply account under Integration settings. After that, contact Chipply to complete the required webhook configuration, which routes tracking information back into Chipply. Follow the steps below to get started.

How To Add Your ShipStation API Key & Secret Into Your Chipply Account:

1) Log in to your ShipStation account and click on the settings gear on the top right-hand side.

2) Click on Account.

3) Click on API Settings.

4) Note: API keys can only be generated by the ShipStation account owner. 5) Under Select your API Version, choose V1 API (verify this is still the recommended version in ShipStation's current documentation). Then click Generate API Keys. ShipStation will send you a verification email to confirm before generating your new API key. 6) During setup, select an expiration period (3, 6, or 12 months — available options may vary; refer to ShipStation's current settings). Once your API key is generated, copy both your API Key and Secret Key — you will paste these into Chipply in the next step.

7) Log in to Chipply, click Settings (top right-hand side of your screen), then Dealer Settings in your top navigation, and then click Integration.

8) If you have not already added ShipStation, click the + Add button and choose ShipStation. Then click ShipStation under Integrated Systems. Under Credentials, paste in your API key and secret key, and then click Save.

The first part of your ShipStation integration is now complete. Reach out to Chipply to complete the webhook setup.
