How to Track Promo Code Usage on Your Store

Using Chipply's data export, you can quickly see which customers used a promo code without digging through individual orders.

1) Inside your store, click Data Export on the left-hand menu. In the top right, click Export, then All Results. Chipply will download an Excel spreadsheet of all orders.

2) Each row represents a product ordered, not an order itself. If someone bought 3 items, they appear 3 times. You'll need to remove duplicates so each order shows up only once.

3) Select the whole spreadsheet. Under the Data tab, click Remove Duplicates. In the pop-up, unselect all columns and check only Order Number. You'll be left with one row per order.

4) Navigate to column BO Promo Code to see which orders were placed with a promo code. Column BN Promo Code Total shows the total discount amount applied to the order.

Please Note: These column letters (BO and BN) apply when no columns have been removed from the export. If you've deleted any columns, the positions may shift.
