When to Copy or Reopen a Group Store

There are two ways to reopen a closed group store, depending on where you are in your fulfillment process: reopening the original store, or copying it. Here's how to know which one to use.

If you haven't started processing or purchasing yet

Head to your store's Settings page and move the close date forward. Your store will automatically reopen, and you can start collecting orders again right away.

If you've already started processing or purchasing

In this case, don't just reopen the store. Chipply's group stores are built to collect orders first and then process them all together, so if you've already started working on some of those orders, there's no clean way to tell which products you've already started and which ones are brand new. Instead, copy the store and reopen the copy. That way, your original orders stay in one store and your new orders land in a separate one, with nothing mixed together.
