You can easily add a note to the sort sheet or packing slips in bulk across multiple different products or individually to a product. This is great in case you want to pass information along to your team, such as when a product is backordered or if an item was shipped separately.
Option 1 - Adding a note to an Entire Product(s) Selection
1. Within Order Manager Items, select the product(s) you want to add a note to.
2. Click Bulk Actions → Add Note.
3. You can now add a Sort Sheet Note or a Packing Slip Note. Once you are done, click ACCEPT. Your note will now appear on the sorting checklist or the packing slips.
Option 2 - Adding a Note to a Specific Product
- Within Order Manager Items, find the product you want to add a note to, and click the Customer Orders Button.
- From here, find the specific items that you want to add a note to.
- Click Bulk Actions → Add a note
- You can now add a Sort Sheet Note or a Packing Slip Note. Once you are done, click Accept. Your note will now appear on the sorting checklist or the packing slips just for that specific product.
How to Add a Note to a Product Individually:
- Within Order Manager Items, find the product you want to add a note to, and click the Customer Orders Button.
- From here, find the customer order and click the line item.
- Once you are on the ORDER DETAILS view for the item that you want to add a note to, click the Add Notes Button.
- You can now add a Sort Sheet Note or a Packing Slip Note. Once you are done, click Accept. Your note will now appear on the sorting checklist or the packing slips for just that specific product.
View Products with Notes
There are two easy ways to tell if a product has a note attached. First, check the Notes column. If a note is present, you’ll see a note icon; if not, two dashes will appear. Second, you can view product-specific notes by clicking the Customer Orders button. Any attached notes will be displayed there, along with a label indicating whether it’s a Sort Sheet note or a Packing Slip note.
