On the previous Backorders and Substitutions page, marking a product as "substituted" only added a note; it didn’t actually update the customer’s order. Now, when you substitute a product, it will automatically update on the customer’s order, the same as it does in Purchasing, making the process more accurate and efficient.
Option 1 - Substituting an Entire Product(s) Selection
1. Within Order Manager Items, select the product(s) you want to substitute. Note: You can only substitute multiple of the same product and color.
2. Click Bulk Actions → Substitute.
3. You will then be brought to a new page where you can substitute the product.
Option 2 - Substituting a Selection of a Specific Product
- Within Order Manager Items, find the product you want to substitute, and click the Customer Orders Button.
- From here, find the specific product(s) that will be substituted and select them.
- Click Bulk Actions → Substitute
- You will then be brought to a new page where you can substitute the product.
